Q. WHERE DO YOUR WORKSHOPS TAKE PLACE?

+ SIZING +
Q. WILL YOUR ITEMS FIT LADIES OF QUEENLY PROPORTIONS?
A. That depends on how queenly you are. The items featured on the website will generally fit ladies size 4-14, of typical womanly porportions. The idea is that these are corsets, so most styles have adjustable lacing. You can loosen of tighten the lacing accordingly. We don't make guarantees simply because we don't know if you're way out of porportion because we can't see you. If you're still unsure, email us at redrawnarts@yahoo.com
Q. I'M ORDERING FOR MY BUDDY. *SHHH!* IT'S A SUPRISE, BUT I DON'T KNOW HIS/HER EXACT SIZE. WHATEVER WILL I DO?
A. Take a flying leap and guess. Our shirts are gauged small to large by median sizing. So, our medium fits squarely on a size 6/8, but can expand or tighten up to 2 sizes either way. Here's the ranges:
Small Size Range: 0-6
Medium Size Range: 4-10
Large Size Range: 8-14
We always leave more lacing for custom sizing that you can cut off and re-tie accordingly after you've found your custom fit. However, a bunch of skin showing can look simply skanky, and sometimes you just need more fabric to cover. If this is the case, just order one size bigger and let us know (ex: "I'll order a large, but she looks more like a medium."). This way, we'll be sure to cut just a smidge larger, but not too large. Naturally, if you know measurements, that would be apropos.

Q. I HAVE A T-SHIRT. MAKE ME A CORSET.
A. That's not very question-like of you.
Q. *AHEM!* WILL YOU MAKE ME A CORSET OUT OF A T-SHIRT I ALREADY HAVE?
A. Now that you asked nicely, we will. And we do! Here's the process:
++ Pick our which style you want us to make for you.
++ Email us to give us a heads up and tell us what style you want.
++ We'll tell you where to send it and when to expect it back. If you want a specific color lacing, be sure to send that color T-shirt as well.
++ Once we receive your payment for $60 and your shirts, we'll get right on that.

Q. SO WHAT'S ALL THIS IS HEAR ABOUT PAYMENTS?
A. Welcome to Capitalism! We take all manner payments, including cash and checks made out to Redrawn Arts. We will be taking credit cards seasonally and at major vending events. For orders off the website, it's best and most secure for you to call us at 917-886-5980 and give us your information. When your payment has gone through, we will ship your item forthwith!
Q. SOUNDS FLANTASTIC! I HAVE 50 CREDIT CARDS. WHICH ONE DO YOU TAKE?
A. None. We said send a cash or check. However, we will be taking credit cards seasonally (like, oh, say....around Christmas), and for all major vending events. We'll keep you posted.

Q. WHAT'S LIVE CORSETRY AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
A. Live corsetry is when we make a corset design on you. we meet up at our showroom located inside of Peeler, you with the t-shirt you want to transform, and us with the scissors and whatnot. Be sure to wear a tank top or something underneath. We'll then cut your t-shirt off you in your desired design, take your shirt off, sprinkle magic dust on it, drape the cut shirt back on you, and lace it up custom to your body with your desired color lacing. We say "Viola!" and you admire yourself in the mirror.
Q. HOW LONG DOES LIVE CORSETRY TAKE?
A. Live corsetry takes about 30 minutes once we're all situated, but expect to spend an hour there all told.

Q. HOW MUCH AND HOW DO I PAY?
A. Aah, the fun part. Live Corsetry appointments are $65 PER SHIRT. You can either pre-pay by credit card over the phone (917-886-5980), or send a check. You can also pay at the time of the appointment by cash, check, or credit card.
Q. I WANT A PAIR OF MATCHING ARMBANDS, HEADBANDS, ETC... FROM MY SHIRT ALSO. GOTTA LOOK COOK, YOU KNOW.
A. So you know how we said live corsetry is $65 PER SHIRT? matching accessories are at regular retail price, as listed on the website.
Q. LIVE CORSETRY SOUNDS LIKE THE COOLEST THING SINCE THE BREAD I SLICED THIS MORNING. HOW DO I SIGN UP?
A. Email or call as usual, and we'll set you up with an appointment.
+ WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ALL OUR STUFF IS ONE-OF-A-KIND +
Q. SO I SAW A CORSET I WANTED A WHILE AGO AND NOW THE PICTURE IS GONE. CAN YOU MAKE ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE RARE 1977 JAGERMEISTER MUSICTOUR CORSETS WITH THE WHITE LACING?
A. No. Our clothes are beautiful and unique snowflakes, just like every last one of you. Given our materials and handmade production methods, it's impossible to replicate EXACTLY anything. So tough. Pick another corset. And read our "Beautiful and Unique Snowflake" policy on the policy page.
However, you may order custom colors. The custom color items are plain, with no graphics anywhere. Here's how you do it!:
++ Email us which style you want us to make and SPECIFIC colors. SPECIFY the lacing color and the bodice color. BE SPECIFIC!!! You're talking to former art school students, so we understand crazy things like "Robin's egg blue" and "Dioxazine Purple".
++ Proceed with ordering like a normal person. If we have a question, we'll ask.
**Armbands and headbands, due to their size, are easier to replicate. Just ask if a specific color combination is available. If not, we'll make it.
Q. YEAH, WELL, WHY'S THE PHOTO THAT WAS THERE YESTERDAY NOT THERE TODAY?
A. Because someone got off their duff and ordered it. Once an order has been placed for an item, that item's picture is taken off the website and is dead to you. But yea, out of death arises new creation, so there will be new items posted as we make them. Anything you see in the pictures is fair game for your ordering spree.**
**Not all armbands or headbands are posted because there's just too darn many of them. So note: Photo representatives of each style are posted, and the individual color combinations on hand are/will be listed on the accessories page. Don't see one you like? That sounds a lot like a custom order!!
